The Water Festival (Bonn Om Touk) is the event that happens at November in Cambodia. This event is about the reversal of the Tonle Sap River. This event takes place for 3 days and everyone like workers, students will celebrate. The biggest celebration is done in Phnom Penh. In that event, they celebrate with boat racing. The story of Water Festival is told that it is the way for the king to prepare for his navy. Before this event happen in Bayon at Siem Reap province. But now they move this to event to celebrate at Phnom Penh and also still happen at Bayon too. Tonle Sap river is the life most of Cambodian people because it give sources to fisherman and also farmer. Also this event is the way to thank back to the river that been help Cambodian people.
